Expedition Infrastructure Partners (XIP) Officially Launches

We are pleased to announce the official launch of Expedition Infrastructure Partners (“XIP”), a merchant bank dedicated to today’s most relevant themes across the next generation of infrastructure and adjacent ecosystems. The XIP leadership team brings exceptional depth of advisory and principal investing experience spanning Energy Transition (renewables, grid resiliency, electrification), Environmental (circular economy, natural resources, resiliency), Digital Infrastructure, and Transportation.

XIP has partnered with one of America’s leading privately held real estate and infrastructure conglomerates, giving the platform institutional staying power and access to substantial principal investment capital. This provides XIP’s merchant banking platform with a unique value proposition to operate as a true solutions provider delivering both advisory and principal investment capabilities, depending on our clients’ specific needs. Our mission is to accelerate highly profitable and effective private investment into the next generation of infrastructure markets. Our collective experience and the ability to pursue that mission as either an intermediary or a capital provider together set us apart.

XIP is led by a founding team comprised of Managing Partners Rob Sternthal and Scott Troeller, who each have 25+ years as founders, investors and advisors across the full infrastructure landscape and related service businesses.

We are thrilled to formally bring XIP to market and have already assembled an outstanding team, including Aaron Richardson (Principal) and Associates Shruti Nayar and Yuchen Duan. This team has already contributed meaningfully to our platform, having secured multiple mandates that span the breadth of our expertise and encompass strategic advisory, capital raising, and sell-side M&A activities. In addition, we expect to soon be announcing our first growth capital partnership with a uniquely positioned infrastructure services provider.
