Joseph dunfee
Principal, investments
Joe brings 17 years of experience as a principal investor and strategic executive in energy, natural resources, and next-generation infrastructure to XIP, having directly deployed more than $1 billion across the sector. His career includes roles at InfraNext, GE Ventures, New Energy Capital, and Accenture. Among his notable transactions, Joe led the transformation of FLS Energy from an insolvent solar hot water developer into the US’ third-largest PV developer, and the carveout of GE Solar into DSD, a leading C&I solar company.
Joe holds a BA from Brown University, a Master’s in Finance from Harvard University, and an MBA from the International Institute of Management Development.
