Michael Nitzberg
Vice President
Michael brings 10+ years of experience across investment banking, private equity, and project finance to XIP, with a focus on renewable energy and power-generating assets. Prior to XIP, he served as Director of Finance at IonicBlue, an Energy-as-a-Service joint venture between Apollo Global Management and Johnson Controls, supervising all modeling and analytics for EaaS transactions. Prior to this, he was Manager at CVE NA, the North American arm of an international IPP, where he closed more than $350 million in construction debt, tax equity, and term loans.
Michael began his career in investment banking at Morgan Stanley in the Natural Resources group, where he supported M&A advisory and capital-raising initiatives in their natural resources sector across transactions totaling over $4 billion. He holds a BA in Economics from Vanderbilt University, where he also minored in Mathematics.
