William Laycock IV

Will brings institutional investment banking experience in the energy transition industry, having worked on and executed transactions across clean fuels, renewable generation, energy services, and the circular economy. Prior to joining XIP, Will started his career in the energy & power sector as a summer analyst in Morgan Stanley’s Global Power & Utilities group, where he began before joining Jefferies’ dedicated energy transition team full-time.

At Jefferies, Will’s experience spanned the entire energy transition landscape, where he played an integral role in the execution of M&A, IPO, and private capital transactions. Will is a FINRA-registered representative and holds his Series 63 and 79 licenses. He graduated from the University of California, Los Angeles, with a Bachelor’s degree in Business Economics.
